Background of John Maxwell

John Maxwell was born on February 20, 1947 in Garden City, Michigan into a religious family with a father as a minister.

Maxwell followed in his father's footsteps and went into the ministry. He obtained his Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. During his career, John Maxwell led churches in several states including California, Florida, Indiana, and Ohio.
