Robin Sharma is most known for his book, "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari," but he has also written a few other best sellers.

His books have sold millions of copies in over 60 countries and been translated into over 70 languages. He drew inspiration from Norman Vincent Peale, but asserts his self improvement advice is something he derived after studying ancient philosophies.

About Robin Sharma

Robin Sharma was born in January of 1965 in Canada. He graduated from law school and became a successful litigation lawyer. After years spent studying various philosophies and self help methods, he wanted to share his insights with the world and help other people become successful as he had.

His first book was self published at Kinkos and his first small seminar was attended by mostly family members, but it was to be the start of an impressive and influential career as a self improvement expert.


His second book, "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari," was also initially self published, but was later picked up by a publishing house and went on to sell millions of copies and made Sharma recognized around the world.

After winning much acclaim for his work as a writer, Robin Sharma became an in-demand keynote speaker. He has appeared before many Fortune 500 companies, and has started a movement by changing how corporations view leadership in the workplace.

He established Sharma Leadership International, which is a leadership development company that has worked in over 50 countries to help organizations take their businesses to the next level.

His firm has worked with some of the top names in commerce such as IBM, Kraft Foods, Microsoft, GM, and FedEx. Sharma also founded a film company. He is working to make "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari" into a major film.

It offers a 30 day program that will help readers transform their lives. Sharma perfected the program by taking ten years to study other successful people.
