Wedding night : that great moment when you finally get to make love to your wife or husband for the first time.
Sure, you may have been doing all kinds of fun things to each other for years, but this is the first occasion that you will have sex as man and wife.
The good news is that it doesn’t have to be awkward, especially if you have already been having sex together for any number of years. The bad news is that it may be awkward if it is your first time together, so it is important to be prepared.

Remember that the wedding has been a long and tiring day, and you have been greeting friends and family for hours. There is no doubt that you are completely exhausted, probably a bit tipsy, and starving like only the bride and groom who can’t get a bite of food at their own wedding can be.
However, also keep in mind that the bride is probably very happy, as she has finally found the man of her dreams (you, in case you missed that). She feels very beautiful, and she has been told that she is beautiful all day. She is no doubt feeling a bit frisky, and you are probably quite in the mood too.
One thing to remember is that wedding night sex has the potential to blow your mind, or it can be pretty awkward and exhausting. Depending on how exhausted you are from your wedding day, your sex may not be so great.
However, it can be amazingly mind-blowing if you do it right, so check out the tips below to help you have the best sex of your life on your wedding night!
The Before
So now it has come time to pleasure your spouse on your wedding night. But what do you do?
• Tell Her She is Beautiful – While she has already heard that all day, there is no doubt that she wants to hear it from you. After all, she got all dolled up and put on that fancy dress just to marry you, and you are the one that she wants to hear tell her that she is the most beautiful thing in the world. Giving her a compliment and telling her she is beautiful is a great way to start things off on the right foot.
• Get a Snack – Sounds un-romantic right? Wrong. Snacking is important at this point, as you are probably pretty hungry by now. You don’t want to drink a lot of alcohol on an empty stomach, as that will just make you tired and sick. Eat a snack, and have fun sharing your wedding night snack together (it can take your sex great places).
• Drink Right – No doubt you have had a lot to drink at your wedding, but that will usually be champagne and wine. Wine is excellent to bring your soldier to attention, but it may make things run their course a lot quicker. Try and drink a bit of whiskey or strong liquor, and top it off with a little beer. Drinking beer before your liquor will end it faster, but doing it the other way around can actually prolong things.
• Dress Him Up as Well – Sure you’ve been in a tuxedo all day looking great for your wife, but you can go one step further and get a pair of sexy boxers that will make your little man look even more attractive to your wife.
• Try Abstinence – Those wanting to build up to a powerful climax on the eve of their wedding will often abstain from sex for the week before the wedding. This works great for the ladies, but men may want to consider masturbating an hour before having sex in order to make it last longer (if you think that’s the right thing to do).
The During
Now you are getting down to the actual lovemaking itself, and this is where the awkward part would begin without the instructions below:
• Help Her – That’s right, be a gentleman and help her out of her wedding dress. The thing is probably pretty big and bulky, and it is unlikely that she will easily be able to get out of it without help. Take the time that you are undressing her to do some exploration with your eyes, hands, and mouth.
• Get Playful – If you really want to make the night memorable, don’t rush into things no matter how tired you are. Getting a bit playful on your wedding night helps to make things a lot more enjoyable, and you will find that some time spent on foreplay will be well received by your beautiful bride.
• Break Out the Toys – If it isn’t your first time having sex together, it is probable that you know exactly what she likes. However, try changing things up by breaking out the sexy toys, though avoid anything that may not go over so well. You can have lots of fun by spicing up your sex with the toys, so don’t hesitate to make it a fun experience by adding some vibrating friends to the party.
• Use Protection – Protection? It may sound strange, but getting your wife pregnant on your wedding night will curtail a lot of your man and wife activities roughly nine months after your wedding. You don’t have to use protection, but it may be a good idea in order to ensure that you have at least one night of great sex without having to worry about starting a family.
• Change it Up -- If you have been having sex for a long time, you probably know what the other person likes and dislikes. However, tonight is the night when you have no inhibitions, so try sexy stuff that you wouldn’t try at home. You may not want to get too outrageous with the things you suggest, but you can certainly do some research and look for fun sex ideas to try on your wedding night.

The After
Once the lovemaking is over, what comes next?
• Relax – Obviously you are both going to be tired, but don’t fall asleep immediately after your sex. Take a few minutes to relax, stand out on the balcony of your hotel suite, and bask in the fact that you are married and just had great sex.
• Prolong the Fun – Don’t plan your honeymoon trip the day right after your wedding, as that just causes a lot more stress than it should when you have to pack, run off to catch a plane, and travel immediately after the exhausting day that your wedding likely was. Take a day after your wedding to relax in your hotel suite, write a few thank you letters, open wedding presents, and bask in the time that you and your wife are spending together.
• Choose Sexy Destinations – When planning your honeymoon, try choosing places that will be conducive to lots and lots of great sex. For example, don’t automatically assume that the beach is the best place to go, but spending your honeymoon on the ski slopes and snuggling in front of a warm fire is definitely a great way to go. Choose destinations that you both will enjoy, and that will help you to have as much sex as possible. After all, you are man and wife, so there is no reason that you shouldn’t have sex.
Your wedding night lovemaking is just the first night of many awesome sexual experiences, and that is the purpose of the whole ordeal. The fact that you are married is just an excellent byproduct, and sex is the ultimate goal of your getting hitched.
Wedding Night Lovemaking: Is it Virgin Sex?
There are many people who come to their wedding night, only to find that their partner is a virgin. This is not uncommon in many parts of the world, as people like to save their bodies for marriage in order to give it to their new wife or husband as a sign of their utter devotion.
So one of you is a virgin. So what? You can still have great sex, and it doesn’t have to be a huge ordeal. Here are some tips to help you have great sex even as a virgin on your wedding night:
• Communicate -- Communicating with your spouse will help you both to have an enjoyable night. If the person has no idea you are a virgin, it can lead to some pretty awkward or painful sex. They probably already know that you haven’t had sex, but communication is important.
• Pain is Natural -- Pain is a part of the deflowering process, but it doesn’t have to hurt too bad. Make sure that your partner knows what is causing you pain, whether they should go slower or faster, or anything else that you feel.
• Erections Don’t Always Happen – If the man is the virgin, it is possible that the stress of the day has overwhelmed him and his penis isn’t going to pay much attention to you. Don’t worry if this is the case, as you can rest assured that it will get hard in the night or the following morning, thus allowing you to enjoy your wedding sex a bit later.
• Virgins Aren’t Experts – No matter how much you have read on the subject, it is probable that the virgin isn’t going to be an expert. Don’t worry if you don’t wow your partner on the wedding night due to the fact that you are a virgin, but remember that skill comes with time and practice.
Being a virgin on your wedding night can actually be a good thing, so don’t worry about it!
Wedding Night Lovemaking: Case Study
John and Joanne were friends for years before they ever started dating, and it came natural to them to start making love soon after they began dating.
